WELCOME TO MY CORNER OF THERAPY where insight and integration meet.

What if therapy didn’t have to feel so… heavy all the time?

Not that it can’t hold depth — it absolutely does.
But what if it could also hold curiosity, a little lightness, and even the occasional “huh… that’s interesting” moment with yourself?

What if it could invite playfulness, wonder, and connection alongside moments of intensity and activation?

Hi, I’m Stephanie — the human behind Embodied Wisdom 👋

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned after years of doing this work, it’s that we don’t actually need more pressure, more fixing, or more ways to get ourselves “right.

Most of us are already doing a very good job of that.

What we often need instead… is a different kind of space.

A space where you don’t have to perform.
A space where you don’t have to have the perfect words.

A space where you can be as awkward and unmasked as you can be.
A space where your body gets to be part of the conversation — not just your thoughts.

Because here’s the thing:

You can understand yourself deeply…
…and still feel stuck in the same patterns.

Not because you’re doing it wrong — but because your nervous system is still running on old, really intelligent protective responses.

(Your body isn’t the problem. It’s actually been trying to help this whole time.)

That’s where my work comes in.

At Embodied Wisdom, I bring together somatic therapy, parts work, and clinical hypnosis — which is just a fancy way of saying:

We don’t just talk about things.
We gently explore how they’re living in you.

Sometimes that looks like:
• Noticing a tightness in your chest and getting curious about it
• Realizing a part of you is trying really hard to keep everything together
• Letting your shoulders drop 5% more and noticing what shifts
• Having a moment where something just… clicks differently

It’s not about pushing or forcing change.

It’s about creating the conditions where change can happen naturally — at the speed your nervous system actually trusts (SPOILER: It’s not the speed your brain wants to move at).

Also… just to say it clearly:

I’m not here as the expert of you.

You don’t need to be fixed.
You don’t need to be analyzed.
And you definitely don’t need to impress me (we do cozy in this space).

I’m here as a collaborative human — someone who will meet you where you are, bring curiosity into the room, and support you in reconnecting with what’s already there.

A lot of the people who find their way here are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware — and still feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that don’t quite make sense or fragments of experiences that just keep showing up.

If that’s you, you’re in very good company.

This space is an invitation to try something different.

To slow things down.
To include your body in the conversation.
To rediscover a rhythm that isn’t about constant doing.

And maybe — just maybe — to find a little more ease along the way.

Welcome to Embodied Wisdom.

I’m really glad you’re here 🤍

With the most care,

S
