 Supporting the nervous system in completing stress responses and restoring regulation through somatic experiencing and clinical somatics.

Internal Family Systems–informed therapy

 Helping you develop a compassionate relationship with the different parts of yourself.

Clinical hypnosis

 Accessing deeper patterns of learning and supporting meaningful change. This work is collaborative, consent-based, and guided by curiosity rather than force. Change unfolds at the pace your nervous system is ready for.

Working at a pace that respects your nervous system and personal boundaries.

I’m Stephanie Warner (She/her), a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) and the founder of Embodied Wisdom Counselling and Somatics.

My work centers the relationship between therapist and client as the most important foundation for meaningful change.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and sometimes even playful. While we may explore difficult experiences together, the process itself does not need to feel heavy all the time.

My role is not to “fix” you, but to help create the conditions where your nervous system can restore balance and reconnect with the wisdom already within you.

Helping You Make Sense of What You're Experiencing

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves.

You may notice patterns repeating in your relationships, emotions that feel difficult to regulate, or a sense that something in your life isn’t quite working the way it once did.

Often, these experiences are not signs that something is wrong with you — they are signals from a nervous system that has been adapting for a long time.

Therapy can be a space to slow down, listen to those signals, and begin restoring connection with yourself.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin.

I believe that support should feel accessible and easeful to navigate. Direct billing is available for most major insurance providers, helping to reduce some of the administrative stress so you can focus on your care.
